Billy Bags has been designing and manufacturing some of
the world's most dynamic and interesting audio/video furniture
since 1988. Improving overall sound quality and interaction
between components is a main consideration in our designs.
Located in Southern California just south of Santa Barbara
on the Pacific Ocean Coastline, our recently enlarged
10,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is one of a kind
and is extremely versatile in its abilities.

Here is what some connoisseurs in the industry
are saying about Billy Bags:

|
"These sturdy, sensibly priced equipment racks are effective, highly functional, attractive, and can be ordered in custom configurations. Optional spikes elevate performance. The media racks are a serious step above what you'll find in the mass market in form, construction, and fuction. They have massive storage for DVDs, CDs, or even (gasp!) LPs. They're rock-solid and look great."

"Robert Harley had nothing but praise for these solidly
built-and sand-filled welded component racks. Available in
stock configurations or custom-built for specific systems.
RH cites tightened image focus, greater dynamic contrast
and increased resolution of low-level detail as a
result of using the Billy Bags stands."

"If you have a room dedicated solely to music or
home theater, or have a spouse who shares your A/V enthusiasm,
by all means put your components on a pedestal.
Billy Bags Design's Big Kahuna entertainment center
can hold up to 1,000 pounds of gear, and with its visible
welded joints and red casters, it has a jaunty industrial look."
-- SOUND & VISION BUYERS GUIDE -2001

"Bill McCready, a well-known designer in the home-theater and studio world, will make you just about any stand you want, and has a variety of semi-custom base models available. Suitable for supporting small buildings, these stands are elegant, industrial-strength solutions for large speakers. A variety of finishes is available."

"Home Theater demands big TVs and big TVs require big, sturdy stands to hold them. Billy Bags offers the Pro-44 TV Stand to help. The cross-braced truss design provides additional support for even the largest of TVs.
OK, so what are the pros using to show off their gear? Rest assured, they are not hiding their pride and joy behind glass or wood or any other type of door. Billy Bags gives their Pro-33 Audio Rack, a design that is extra deep to store even your biggest amps and gear. When the side columns are filled, the rack will weigh up to 300 pounds -- before components are added. Billy Bags will customize your furniture for you. All you have to do is ask "

"The Pro-Stand line is virtually custom-made to order as was in our case. Bill McCready, the man behind Billy Bags, has both a background in architecture and interior design. McCready started manufacturing in 1987 in Laguna Beach, California. These stands are just incredibly rigid and strong. (Bill says he could balance a Porsche on top of his Pro-Stands and they wont collapse.)
What attracted me to these stands was the level of stability and rigidity in their build quality, as well as the excellent level of ventilation they provide for the components, which in our never-off state generate substantial heat. And heat can cause problems if its allowed to build up inside your rack. The Pro-Stands use a special truss system for crossbracing to provide the ultimate in stability and rigidity. This is why I chose to equip our Reference Holosonic Home Theatre Lab with the Pro-Stand series."

" BEST OF HIGH-END RACKS AND MOUNT ON THE MARKET
Billy Bags' The Big Kahuna Entertainment Center is what it sounds like: it holds up to 1,000 pounds of equipment and, with built-on 5-inch wheel caters, is mobile. Additional joints are welded to create a very hi-tech aesthetic that can be customized by number of shelves."
-- Natalie Hope McDonald -E-GEAR MAGAZINE - OCTOBER 2002

" Pro-Stands from Billy Bags incorporate all of the features a
high-end audiophile would appreciate: non-resonant
shelves, spiked legs, vibration dampers, and very sturdy construction.
These units are not only heavy, but are capable of handling
enormous weight. The look is industrial, but hey,
sometimes you need a few I-beams in the house."
-- Steve M. Long - CEPro MAGAZINE - NOVEMBER 99

Quite simply: These are the best audio racks around.
We know of none one better.
Billy Bags constructs each frame from 1" round cold rolled steel with
a 0.35" wall thickness. Each steel tube is cut and precisely milled,
placed in a special jig, then arc-welded on the inside of the frame.
Welding on the inside is very rare and expensive, but gives the
joints the appearance and strength of molded steel. These racks
also include special features to control resonances and enhance
equipment performance. These include special multi-layered,
high-desnsity shelves that are bolted securely in place, unique
Leg Vibration Damper sleeves made of high-density open-cell
foam, truss supports welded into second shelf for increased
stiffness, and optional cone point feet.
Billy Bags racks offer the finest fit and finish we've ever seen.

PRO-DVD 560 Media Storage
Billy Bags has been designing and building some of the coolest,
best sounding audio/video furniture since 1987.
Attention to detail is superb.
The PRO-DVD 560 is beautifully manufactured and finished.
There are no fancy flourishes here, just solid engineering.

"To securely hold Theta's forty-plus pound behemoth
Casablanca surround sound digital preamp, along with
all our other A/V gear, we used a Billy Bags "I Beam" rack,
the sturdiest and best-looking system we have ever tried.
You'll need an earthquake-proof rack like the I Beam,
for the Casablanca rocks the house."

Ooh La La!
"Specially designed to clean home theaters easily and effectively, A/V furniture maker Billy Bags' Audio Duster features a long, slim duster profile to get in where fatter dusters can't and leave your gear in dust free elegance with but a single swipe. Plus it comes in this really cool hard plastic storage tube, so you can leave it by your rack and the cats can't eat it. The price? A mere $19.95! The Gee-Gawd's veredict? Grrfriend, you better get one if you know what's good for your mm-hmm.
The Gee-Gawd has spoken. "

Billy Bags PRO-1000 CD Storage Rack
Just as I was despairing of ever finding a CD shelving I could live with,
I saw an ad for Billy Bags' PRO-1000 CD Storage Rack.
It was perfect! Sturdy as the dickens, generously sized, and
best of all, it was modular. Buy one rack and continue
adding additional 500 or 1000 CD sections as the
collection grows! What a great idea.
The PRO-1000 CD Storage Rack works extremely well.
I couldn't recommend them more highly.
-- Wes Phillips -ON HIFI.COM -- JUNE 15, 2000

With a burst of creative thinking, Billy Bags has
rejuvenated the traditional black steel audio stand.
Essentially a rack within a rack, the PRO-30 cradles a
three-tier storage unit within its massive superstructure.
A fourth, extra-large (30 x 21 inches) top shelf pivots
smoothly on high-quality bearings and can accommodate either
a 27-inch television or a ponderous audio component.
-- AUDIO/VIDEO SHOPPER-DEC. 96

"Billy Bags hand-built, made-to-order furniture is a
knockout. The steel frames are rigid and completely stable...
Each piece can be redesigned to your own individual specifications."
Kim Wilson -- HOME THEATER: REVIEW APRIL 95

"I know the Billy Bags PRO-STAND line will be well received
by the Specialty Audio and Video dealers and ultimately
by their customers. We at Proton are pleased to tie our
brand name to these new stands for marketing
and will recommend the PRO-STAND as the
only quality choice for a base to put a Proton on."
William Trovatt V.P. -- PROTON TV

"Perhaps the most useful function a rack can perform is to
isolate your components from each other and from floor and airborne
vibrations...when we envision the kind of rack worthy of holding
the component of heman audiophile, images of Billy Bags handywork
usually come to mind...For maximum strength and aestethic appeal.
The look is unbashedly industrial, and we like it that way."
Al Griffin -- HOME THEATER: REVIEW-MAY 96

"Billy Bags Designs was showing their selection of audio and video
stands. These stands combine elegant aesthetic appeal with a
survive the bomb approach to construction. This was the first time
that I've seen these stands up-close, and I can say without a doubt
that they are the best looking, most rugged stands around.
If you want to give your gear the best, call the boys at Billy Bags."

allowed more see through ability and increase of presence and snap.
The variety of shelf and frame finishes makes it easy to find
a wife's eye pleaser. Billy Bags audio rack has found a home in
